Have a question? Here are some FAQs – or, just ask using the form below.
“I’m 45 years old. How can I figure out the direction for the rest of my life?”
Your work history probably provides the clues, but companies exist to fulfill their purpose – not yours. You’d be shocked how many people in their 30’s, 40’s, and 50’s are asking this question! It’s time to sequence your professional DNA and take a proactive – not reactive – posture toward the rest of your career.
“I feel like a misfit – should I start my own company?”
Maybe – but realize that the key to finding your most fulfilling work is discovering your fit, and then looking for a role that fits you (not vice-versa). Whether or not that involves striking out on a new path is something to consider based on a clear self-assessment.
“We’ve been in business for 8 years and we’re doing too many things. How do we regain focus?”
Almost every company goes through this process. At some point, it’s time to stop chasing any revenue opportunity (not all business is good business) and decide what your core direction will be.
“We feel lost in a sea of competitors – how can we stand out when 20 other companies claim to do what we do?”
Realize that your competition isn’t “them” – it’s overload in the mind of your potential customer. A clear and memorable message is the way to be remembered as something more than a commodity supplier.
“Can we talk briefly about a specific marketing or career challenge I have?”
Sure! While most of my Clarity Therapy engagements go in-depth, you can also set up hourly calls with me via the Clarity.fm platform:
